v1.2.1

Each model's maker first

v1.2.0 added more providers behind the catalogue. v1.2.1 settles the order they are tried in and closes two gaps in failover.

The maker's own API goes first

Where the company that built a model also serves it, that API is now the first candidate for the tier, and third-party hosts follow as fallbacks. This applies to onde-apex, onde-flare, onde-nova, onde-orbit, and onde-aura. Model ids, request shapes, and responses are unchanged.

A second provider for onde-zenith

onde-zenith no longer depends on a single upstream. Its fallback serves the closed flagship of the same model generation, not the open weights the primary serves, so a request answered during an outage may come from a slightly different model. The primary is always tried first.

Forced tool calls

Some upstreams only accept tool_choice: "auto". A request that sets tool_choice to "required", "none", or a named function now skips those and goes to the next candidate that can honour it, where it used to be rejected upstream.
